Compass Secure Transports aim and objectives is to promote the well-being of children and young people, who need to be transported in a safe and nurturing way. We are an organisation, who aim to provide and individual, tailored and be-spoke service to fit the needs of your children and young people. We comply with our policies and guidelines in transporting children and young people.

Our Services are offered 365 days of the year 24 hours a day. This can be on an arranged or an emergency basis depending on your needs. We have an on-call support service 24 hours a day. We will tailor your services to meet the requirements.

Non-Secure services and secure services of children and young people

Escorting children and young people missing form care

Escorting children and young people from residential placement.

Our services cover nationwide transportation of children and young people

Escorting to and from supervised family contact (in the community/contact centre)

Escorting young people in police custody

Escorting children and young people to and from court hearings

Escorting children and young people to and from education provisions

Escorting children and young people to and from hospital/health centres

Our staff have a background in working in a variety of different situations, often with very challenging young people, situations and environments with children, young people, families and vulnerable adults with their own individual, sometimes complex, support needs

We are a flexible business, and offer services are offered 24 hours a day 365 days a year, therefore we need you to be flexible to work around these hours.  We offer full time contracts, this includes full time workers, bank workers and casual staff. We will always endeavour to find an option that will suit your own work life balance requirements.

As part of our policy’s and guidelines we undertake safer recruitment and selection process. As part of the induction process we offer a comprehensive training package training and individual development plan, this allows all staff to work confidently in line with the organisations values and ethos of children and young people being at the centre of our services and build on your experience and life skills to achieve the highest standards across the range of our services we have to offer.

Our Safer Recruitment checks will be undertaken and include:

• A satisfactory enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure children and young people and adults.
• A full manual driving licence and satisfactory record of safe driving course being undertaken.
• Satisfactory employment history references covering all employment working with vulnerable children and young people and adults as well as a suitable personal reference; and satisfactory references
• Evidence of your ability to work in the UK.
• Photograph Evidence
